Emmitsburg is the northernmost town we serve, close enough to the Pennsylvania line that it feels like its own corner of the county. Mount St. Mary's University and the National Shrine of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton anchor the town, with farmland stretching out in every direction beyond it.

The in-town housing near the small historic core is older and modest, while the university brings a rotating population of student housing and rental turnover. Outside town it's almost entirely working farmland, with long driveways and large parcels the norm.
